We were lucky enough to celebrate thanksgiving in Albuquerque with Tim's family. Wendy hosted a lovely meal while the rest of us pigged out and did a little cooking. Memorable holiday!! Cutest little nieces and nephews making things entertaining. A baby shower for Roxie and a tram ride up the Sandias.

It's been almost 8 months since moving in and we have had bare walls, except for a large mirror, due to my inability to find something that went with my furniture, etc. My parents were gracious enough to loan/give me paintings that my grandmother did about 70-80 years ago. The colors wok perfectly with a green wingback chair I stole from my grandmother after she passed on. We are happy happy campers in this house now. We should probably add some family photos next.

Random Holiday fun

Ashleigh and Kyle met Billie and I up at Big Bear for a few days. It rained the day we got there, then snowed the entire following day. Billie was sick with a bad cold virus, fever included, so we didn't do much but still had a fabulous time.

Christmas

Christmas was spent at my teeny tiny house this year. Mom, Dad, Ashleigh, Kyle, Billie, Ronny, and I were in attendance. We debated whether to stick some people in a hotel due to my lack of space but thought it would be more fun to stay together, and we were right! Had a wonderful time with everyone. The boys spent Christmas eve at the shooting range while us girls managed to purchase myself a new couch at Costco. That was fun. Right. Rented a van at Home Depot, two trips to Costco, and wallllla, we have a couch. Back was a little sore after all the hauling of furniture, thank goodness I am buff ;-)

Christmas Eve Dinner

The spread: fresh crab, ham, potatoes, and bread. Salad was planned but we didn't have the appetite for another dish so we skipped the veggies (college degree worthless??)

The cooks! Asheigh and I did the shopping and the cooking, so fun, and a first for the two of us.

Billie's 12th Birthday!

Billie is officially a young woman! Last night she had 5 friends over for a sleep over. Girls were great, drama free, and very sweet.

Blowing out her 1 candle, 12 is too many for cupcakes, oh well.

"Jaws" set up on the big screen outside. Girls had a movie and fire while consuming pizza and cupcakes. Ronny set this up, such a good sport!

Josie's Memorial

Uncle Bill can be seen in the picture above (far right), he is one of two living Littletons left. Grandma's little brother.

Better late than never! This past summer, Aunt Josie passed away after living a long, full life. We had lunch at PF Changs in Thousand Oaks and then did a little service on the side of the road (slightly bizzare if you ask me) The memorial fell on the same weekend as the "Rauch" family reuninion in Simi Valley so we did that for dinner.

Hawaii- August 2009

Here are some of the pictures from our recent journey to Hawaii. We spent the first half of the week staying in Waikiki and the second half of the week in Kailua with my brother and his family. Trip was great, we did Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, the North Shore, the Dole Plantation, and a lot of pool and beach time. It was a good end to a not so fun summer (actually, the whole month of August was pretty great)!
